Buxted Construction, as a building and civil engineering contractor, recognises its responsibility to protect the environment. Our commitment to this objective is demonstrated by proactively adopting the following principles:

Comply with relevant legislation, client and other requirements that apply to all
our work activities as a minimum.

Communicate with all parties involved to ensure minimal environmental impact
and provide, where possible, environmental enhancement.

Identify and evaluate the environmental aspects of all projects which the
company undertakes which may include:

- Waste management and minimisation
- Air quality
- Noise
- Ground condition / land
- Water resources
- Wildlife and habitat
- Archaeology and Heritage

Identify and implement environmental training needs to raise environmental
awareness across the company.

Promote environmental principles to our supply chain to encourage the adoption
of appropriate levels of environmental management.

Source environmentally sustainable materials, reduce waste and consumption of energy and raw materials and maximise opportunities to re-use and recycle
wherever possible.

Promote high environmental standards and the use of environmental best
practices throughout the company
